Dear RHA Family and Friends,

Maria Rivera has been employed with RHA since 2014 as a Residential Outreach Specialist with the San Diego ESA Program.  Maria is the definition of a model employee who spends countless hours connecting families to energy services.  Due to unfortunate circumstances surrounding her husband Abel, we are asking the RHA family to rally together and send prayers, positive energy, and monetary donations in her time of need.

Abel was diagnosed with cancer and fought a very tough battle.   Chemo treatments, medications, and surgical procedures took a toll on Abel and his family of four both mentally and financially.  Despite ongoing treatment, Abel’s condition did not improve and he is currently in hospice preparing for his transition.  Maria is now beside her husband full time and is in a position where prayers and support of others is imperative.
