Hi my name is Lukasz, I am a Polish man living with my partner and 2 kids in Scotland in Edinburgh. I am looking for and asking for help to help us to rise a money for a MRI scan for my 3. 5 year old rottweiler. He is a beautiful, lovely family pet raised with kids. He was always gentle to kids and other dogs. Well behaved dog. I spend months to teach him obedience. He is our family loved pet. We noticed that on Wednesday 12.11.2025 he started shake his head so I thought it is something not right with his ear. I used a drops for his ear to clean them and remove anything could be potentially there. Fortunately nothing was there but a day after I noticed that his right side of a face was a little bit dropped ( similar to a person with stroke) he couldn't control a saliva discharge then I noticed that he cannot blink with his eye. We went to a vets today (17th 11/2025) and we been told that his ear is fine and there is no problem with a ear inside. Problem can be either a face nerve paralysis or worst case scenario brain tumor. We been advised to go to a Edinburgh vets hospital to do MRI but doctor said it could be anything between £1200-3600. Our dog isn't insured and I simply dont have that kind of money to spent especially for MRI which like doctor said can show us a issue with his paralised face but also can be positive result. I would like to ask anyone who could help to rise money to see where am I standing now. I really appreciate any donation.
