Keri and Marty's Adoption fund

When my wife came to me and said she was 100% on board with the idea of adoption, I started my quest to give her the best gift ever.  Keri and I are both teachers and both have dedicated our lives to children.  Keri would make an excellent mother and has a lot of love to give.  It's hard to talk about myself, but I feel that I would be a great father based on how I feel about my journalism staff and my athletes.  I have always felt like a father to them.  

Keri and I have decided that invetro is too risky for us, so adoption is the best chance for us to be parents.  We want to give a child a loving home and family.  However, this process isn't cheap. This is where all you wonderful, amazing, generous people come in. The difficulty is in the start up costs and coming up with those initial funds.   

Any donations will go directly to the cost of the adoption.  We have paid for the intial homestudy and attorney retainer fees.  When we are matched with a birth mother is when this gets very expensive.  The attorney fees  start at $7500 and can go as high as $35,000.  And this is just for one place.  If we need to go to another agency, the cost will rise.   That is where you extraordinary people come in.  We know we would make exceptional parents.  Please help us in making this dream come true.
