I am Sahar from Gaza, a mother of several children. I live with my mother and children after we lost everything. Our house was bombed during the war, and we no longer have safety or shelter. My husband has been missing for years, and we know nothing about him. In this war, I lost my father, my brother, my uncle, and seven of my cousins.

My children have disabilities. The youngest has a mobility disability, and the oldest has a visual impairment. I have a suspected case of cancer, but I cannot undergo tests or treatment due to the catastrophic conditions we live in.

We are trying to persevere, but the war is eating away at our souls day after day. There is no sufficient food, no medicine, no treatment, and no hope.

I am writing to you because I want to save my children. I do not want them to grow up amid death and fear, but rather to have a dignified and safe life.

I am appealing to every person with a heart: Help me leave Gaza. The cost of leaving is too high, and I cannot bear it alone. Every dollar could make a difference and save our lives.

From my heart, I thank everyone who extends a hand to us in this darkness and gives us a glimmer of hope.
