Hi, Jennifer here. I am fundraising for my sister, Sharon, and her two girls, Raegan and Lauren. On April 6th, Sharon's husband, Anthony Dearth, of 17 years, and the girl's dad walked out without a trace. Sometime after Sharon went to work and the girls went to school, Anthony got in his truck and drove off. When Sharon and the girls returned home, they found he had left behind his phone, laptop, wallet, and belongings. For the first week, no one knew whether Anthony was alive, and after a day or two, Sharon reported him missing. A week later, she received a call from the investigator that they spotted this truck in Tennessee in front of a furniture store. This sighting was the beginning of what began to unfold. She is living her own Dateline episode right now.

Since then, we have learned that Anthony purchased some property in Tennessee in November 2019. He took out a loan for $50+ somewhere around 9/21 and made payments for a year. He has defaulted on this loan. Anthony took over $50k out of his IRA in December of 2021. He left my sister with over $10,000 in unpaid property taxes on their current home, and there is no telling what else will unfold. He walked out on his job of 22 years, but importantly he walked out on his family, and we believe he has no intention of returning.

Sharon has since met with an attorney and needs to pay a retainer fee. They must hire a private investigator to locate and serve him in Tennessee. She can not sell the house or any of their property because his name is on everything. We know that at least as far back as November of 2019, Anthony was planning to fund a new life in Tennessee, and Sharon knew nothing of it until recently. She is in a difficult financial position and could use a little help. If you feel inclined to help, I know she would be grateful. Thank you!!
