William Dixon, age 53,
of San Leandro, CA passed
away peacefully following
a brief illness on February
22, 2017. Pre-deceased by
older brother, Elbert Dixon,
William leaves behind to
cherish, fond and lasting
memories of a life well-
lived, his deeply-devoted
wife of 29 years, Sharon
Dixon; his parents (Cain
and Lobelia Dixon) of St.
Louis MO; four adoring
sons: William II, Lazarus,
Xavier and Noel; three lov- ing sisters: Darla and Jackie
Dixon, and Doris (Otis)
Thompson; beloved moth-
er-in-law Mary Banks; be- loved brothers-in-law: Otis,
Craig and Ryan; and sis- ters-in-law: Rhonda, Arlena
and LaShanda. Also left to
mourn his lost, a host of
aunts, uncles, nieces, neph-
ews, cousins, as well as,
numerous coworkers and
students.
William taught math in
both Oakland and San
Leandro School Districts
over the past 20 years, and
found his true passion in
life: Teaching and positively
influencing as many young
people as he could. William
is gone but will never be
forgotten.
Family and friends are
invited to the Visitation
beginning at 5:00PM on
Tuesday, February 28th
and to the Vigil at 7:00PM,
both at Holy Angels Funeral
& Cremation Center, 1051
Harder Rd., Hayward. A
Mass of Resurrection will be
celebrated on Wednesday,
March 1st at 11:30AM at
Our Lady of Good Counsel
Church, 2500 Bermuda Ave,
San Leandro, where service
Will conclude.
