My friend--our friend--Heather has been facing and treating HER II triple positive breast cancer since July 2023. Due to multiple complications, including a softball-sized seroma that became a hematoma, serious nerve damage in her chest wall and left arm, a frozen shoulder, and most recently, an infected port site. She has been unable to work since January of 2024.

Over the many years that I have known her, I have watched Heather giving freely of her time and talents to help others. It is the essence of who she is, and (typically) she has not asked for help in the fight for and of her life. So I am asking for her, "Please, let's all give Heather the same kind of loving help that she has given to others her whole life."
