Kings Surgery

Hi, my name is Kelli and I’m 20 years old. I am fundraising for my amazingly sweet boy, King.

Back in May I rescued a 5 year old Pit named King. It was one of the best decisions I ever made. He is the most cuddly and loving dog you will ever meet. He instantly became apart of the family, bringing so much joy to everyone. He is the definition of ‘happy to be here’. He has had a few health issues but nothing like what we recently found out. About 2 months back we took him in to the vet because he was coughing a lot and his breathing was really rough. While there the vet found a large bacterial infection in his mouth. The bacteria is eating away the tissue on the roof of his mouth. Leaving grey dead tissue right where his nasal cavity meets. We tried the antibiotics for over a month with him but it unfortunately did not get rid of it. I love this dog so much and seeing this take such a tole on him physically is just heartbreaking. The dog who just likes to eat, sleep, cuddle and play barely moves around. His breathing is very laboured and his energy is just gone. He can’t even play with our 2 year old Pit who has become his best friend.

With the donations I would get him his CT scan, biopsy, and reconstructive surgery of the dead tissue. As a pet owner you know there will be expensive when it comes to their health but never this. I just want to give him a chance to live out the best life possible.Any donation no matter how small will help, and please keep King and I in your thoughts and prayers as well!
