Mr. Wyse Scholarship Fundraiser

It has been a year since Tom Wyse, beloved Donahue School Math teacher passed away. Tom loved his students and the work he did. He was a special teacher with a special way about him. He was able to reach some of the hardest to reach students. His passing left a void. 

We would like to continue to remember him and his special way with a scholarship in his name. This past year, we gave away 2 scholarships of $300 each to former students of his who wrote essays. The students are using that money to help them with the expenses of college. Tom prided himself on being was the teacher who pushed his students to achieve more, want more and dream more than ever. We want to continue to help students of his do just that. In order to continue giving away one $300 scholarship each year for the next few years, we need your help.

So, if Tom was an influence in your life, as a teacher, a mentor, a friend, or a colleague, and you want to help us keep his memory alive for the children of the Holyoke Public Schools, especially Donahue School, who were so close to his heart, please help us by donating. Any amount will help.
