Rusty came into my life 3 years ago, he had an incredibly bad case of kennel cough, he would hardly wag his tail, he was scared and confused. With medication, lots of love and patience his health started to improve. He slowly came out of his shell, to reveal a silly little pup that just wants cuddles and treats and to meet any new person he lays eyes on. Not too long ago, while running around the house, he had a little fall. A small lump came up that had grown rapidly to a gigantic tumour becoming life threatening as it burst. After an accident of my own and nearly losing a couple of fingers, any emergency savings I had are thoroughly chewed through.

He has successfully had the tumour removed with a large portion of muscle and is currently recovering but still in a lot pain, and a long road ahead with a further operation if needed.
