Mr. Rogers Needs our Help

Mr. Rogers (the shelter dog) caught everyone’s attention as he was living his senior years in a shelter. You helped find his home, and now he needs help again. At 13, Mr. Rogers finally found out what it means to be loved as he left the shelter with his new family. Within weeks, sadly, Mr. R’s health and quality of life took a turn, and the family is faced with some huge decisions. Aside from an enlarged prostate and Lyme disease, it won’t be long before he is no longer able to walk due to debilitating arthritis. Mr. Rogers has only been in his forever family for a couple of weeks, and they want to do everything they can to extend his life as comfortably as they can. The great news is he is healthy otherwise, but he is in a great deal of pain. With the help of surgery, meds, supplements, and a wheelchair, Mr. R should have many happy days ahead of him. Obviously, this comes with unexpected expenses for a family who wanted to give the least likely dog a home. If you could help this family extend Mr. Roger’s life, they would greatly appreciate it. He finally got a break in life, and so he isn’t ready to leave it.
