Mr Ray (Poppy Man) Bradburn

Greetings one and all,

The Over Wyre Veterans Group (OWVG) would like to honour our fellow member Mr Ray (Poppy Man) Bradburn with a memorial bench for his military service and poppy collections in support of the Royal British Legion. I wanted to reach out to you about a cause that really touched my heart. The Over Wyre Veterans Group is working to honor Mr. Ray Bradburn, affectionately known as the Poppy Man. Ray dedicated so much of his time to supporting veterans through his poppy collections, braving all kinds of weather outside the Knott End On Sea Co-Op. His unwavering commitment to helping those in need is truly inspiring.

They’re raising funds for a memorial bench in his honor, which would serve as a lasting tribute to his service and dedication. Contributing to this cause not only recognizes Ray's efforts but also supports the veterans he cared for so deeply. If you're able to lend your support, I know it would mean a lot to the community and to Ray’s memory.
