Mr. Potato's Memorial Fund

This past week we had to say goodbye to the sweetest boy. But even though we couldn't save him, vet bills still need to be paid. Now, we need your help.

Potato got rushed to the emergency vet Friday morning after not eating or drinking for 24 hours and seemingly in a lot of pain. It was the worst waiting game in the world, praying for small improvements and only receiving new mysteries. He struggled through the weekend, but he was still there. Finally, after several tests and attempts at treatment, we got the worst news Monday, July 11th that he wasn't going to make it. We were devastated, and that morning, we said our goodbyes. He's in a better place now, but we still miss him terribly. Taking on pet parenthood, you know you have to be ready to say goodbye, but you're never actually ready.

Now, we've had a little time to mourn, but the reality of his vet bills is a thing we have to contend with. We were willing to spend what we had to, but it's still a lot.

Those of you who have met the wonderful Mr. Potato loved him dearly and have enjoyed his adorable bweows- we are asking for donations in his memory to help offset the financial impact of our attempts to save him. If you have memories of the illustrious Mr. Bweow, we would love it if you shared them.

Thank you for any help you can give. We (of course) were not expecting this, and are hoping this helps us regain our footing enough to give us time to grieve without as much fear about how we can financially recover.
