This is Mr. Pickles! He’s a 13-year-old stray-cat-turned-iPad-kid who I brought in last year. When I took him to the vet, he was fine and had a microchip, but his owners never called back. He’s been my best friend for the last year and a half.

Yesterday, when he didn’t come say good morning and meow for breakfast, I knew something was wrong. He has something going on with his mouth to the point even the little Churru’s make him make noises out of pain. I’m just barely scraping by as it is, and vets are expensive. I’ve looked into ScratchPay and CreditCare with no luck. Most pet insurances (even ones who pay the vet directly upfront) need a two-week waiting period, and a lot of them have reviews that dental care is usually denied. How the funds will be used: After doing some research, dental work for cats can cost anywhere from $500-$3400. I will update (fingers crossed lower) based on what the vet has to say at his exam! All donations will go towards the vet care, and any remaining funds will go solely to my two cats for any other items they need if anything is leftover!
