Mr. Patrona's Fearless Fight!

Our beloved fifth-grade teacher, coach and 1994 New Canaan graduate,  Mr. Michael Patrona, has been diagnosed with a rare form of lymphoma.  Fortunately, his type of lymphoma is treatable and he is receiving great care at Smilow Cancer Center at Yale New Haven Hospital.  His doctors feel positive that they can treat his condition successfully. Unfortunatly he will be out for the rest of this school year and we'd like to show our support for him and his family since we can't in person.

We are setting up this GoFundMe page to help him through the many “hidden costs” of his diagnosis. With your generous donations, we will fund in ways to both support their 7-year-old son with the upcoming changes their family will face, as well as be able to relieve the burden of common household maintenance he would typically take on by funding house cleaning, grocery shopping, and yard maintenance for his family.
