Mr. Orange Needs a New Leg

Yesterday we came home to find our Mr. Orange in a bad state. After a long night at the emergency vet it was determined that he has severely dislocated a joint in his left hind leg, after more investigation and attempts at relocation, we were informed that the ligaments that hold his joint into place and would allow the bones to be relocated are brutally torn. Potentially beyond repair. This heartbreaking news came along with an enormous vet bill. Next steps will be having Mr Orange assessed for surgery but the most likely prospect will be amputation. The minimum cost of the upcoming procedure is 3500. With the initial vet bill already coming as a surprise, I am reaching out to anyone who may be able to offer some support.

This is a very uncomfortable thing for me, but I encourage those around me to always reach out when they need help so I have decided to extent the same grace to myself.
