During these difficult times, Mr. Obanyaki would like to raise money to help support our business and also donate a portion of these funds for a good cause. You'll be supporting both a small business (Mr. Obanyaki) & also supporting the men and women who work tirelessly to put their lives at risk during this pandemic at our local hospital in Monterey Park.
Our whole family grew up here in Monterey park and we’ve always believed in giving back to the community that shaped who we are. We supported our local school, clubs, and even sponsored a local non profit community basketball club. During this time of hardship, we want to give back to the heroes behind the mask but to do that we have to survive as a business.
What are these funds for?
1. Donating desserts and/or drinks to the frontline healthcare professionals at our local hospital in Monterey Park on June 30, 2020
2. Supporting Mr. Obanyaki to keep our doors open to the community during this pandemic.
Just like most businesses during this pandemic, the future is uncertain. We sacrificed everything to chase a dream, we would lose everything we've worked so hard for. Because of this pandemic, our father just recently lost his job and we fear our business might be next. We've already lost about 85% of sales since this pandemic started. It has been a huge struggle to survive on 15% sales. We really don't know how much longer Mr. Obanyaki can hold on for, since the future is uncertain. As little as $5-$10 goes a long way for BOTH of us. Thank you!
