Mr. No Name Dumped in Yuba City with broken leg
Donation protected
Hello friends,
Well, god has a plan for me to rescue dogs apparently. My heart will not turn a blind eye no matter the stresses involved. There was such success for Lil Ricky's leg to be repaired that I wanted to extend the offer to Mr. No Name.
Mr. No Name was found in Yuba City, CA 8/30/23. I'm guessing he is 1-3 yrs old (no plaque on teeth) and about 70lbs. He had a broken leg, but with some help of a kind family, we were able to get him into my freshly detailed car. Mr. No Name has been gentle and kind to us and our entire pack of dogs - even with a broken leg! Mr. No Name deservers a chance at life. I refuse to take him to the shelter as it could potentially be a death sentence. And once at the shelter, I give up all control.
This rescue has put an extreme hardship on my current household as our last rescue - Lil Ricky is only a week out of surgery. Not to mention the lack of time I give to my current pack. My wife and my mother are about to disown me. However, I simply can not turn a blind eye to Mr. No Name.
We need his leg repaired and a forever home PLEASE SHARE as the power of social media saved Lil Ricky's leg. Anything helps, a dollar, a share. "Many hands make light work" - Grandpa Borsma.
Thank you for your time, thoughts, shares, and prayers.
-Steve and Mr. No Name
Here is a poem I found that resonates with us:
I adopted your dog today
I adopted your dog today
The one you left at the pound
The one you had for years, and no longer wanted around
I adopted your dog today
Did you know he's lost weight?
Did you know he's scared and depressed and seems to have lost all faith?
I adopted your dog today
He had fleas and a little cold
Guess you don't care what shape he's in – you abandoned him I'm told.
I adopted your dog today
Were you having a baby or moving away?
Did you suddenly develop allergies, Or was there NO REASON he couldn't stay?
I adopted your dog today
He doesn't play or even eat much
I guess he's very sad inside and It'll take time for him to trust.
I adopted your dog today
And here he is going to stay
He's found his FOREVER home and a warm bed in which to lay.
I adopted your dog today
And shall give him all that he will need – Patience, love and security, so he can forget your selfish deed
