Hi, my name is Charlotte & i co-run Purrs Cat Rescue - Walsall with my dear friend Penny Price. We are a small, non-funded, not for profit rescue. We work tirelessly raising funds to help vulnerable cats in our local area.

We recently took in a lovely young cat who was quite literary dumped at our vets - Whitecross Vets, Bloxwich Ws2 7Bu. We believe this is because Mr Miyagi has a broken heart.

Following an ultrasound at our vets, they have advised Mr Miyagi should see a heart specialist at Pride Referals in Derby to provide an exact diagnosis & prognosis.

Unfortunately, this will cost our rescue in the region of £1500. Our vets will happily confirm this.

Mr Miyagi is young & so full of life, which is why we feel the need to do this. Yes, it's a lot of money for one little cat, but, the number of cats we have helped that have not required extra medical attention offsets the ones that occasionally do.

We would be very grateful for absolutely any donation, as every single penny will help and count towards getting answers for Mr Miyagi and, hopefully, the help he needs.

Whatever the outcome, we want to ensure our beautiful boy has the best life possible!

Our vets feel confident Mr Miyagi can lead a normal, happy life. Having the correct diagnosis will ensure we as a rescue, make the right decisions for his future.
