Recently, Stephanie and I (we), received the unfortunate news that our son, our Mr. Meow has an aggressive form of hyperthyroidism. It is devastating news, of which we are creating this “Go Fund Me,” to reach out to all our friends and family asking for help with raising at least half of the cost of his treatment.

If it is not treated we are looking at a steep decline in quality of life and life expectancy.

Meow has one of the biggest personalities out there (more like a dog then cat) and has been in Stephanie’s life for the past 10 years. He is her best friend, her first love. He loves to play fetch, run zoomies around the house, chase laser pointers, sniff your food and can cuddle with the best of them. He has gotten her through some of her darkest times the past decade and continues to be a source of warmth, love and laughs.

Meow is a man with a personality, one we hope to continue to enjoy for another 10 years. Unfortunately, the radioactive iodine treatment needed for his diagnosis is estimated to be about $3,000 and his insurance does not cover it. We are hopping to raise at least half of the estimated cost. 

Our pets are our family. They are part of us. Please help us help Mr. Meow continue a long and beautiful life.
