Mr. McKay's Memorial

On February 15, 2017 we learned of the passing of Mike McKay who died on February 7, 2017.  Mr. McKay taught 6th grade for 33 years at Glenn Elementary  and in those 33 years he had a profound impact on many students .   As news spread of Mr. McKay's passing, a Facebook group, "Remebering Mr. McKay ", was created to share memories of Mr. McKay.   Soon it became appearent that the group wanted to do something for the school in memory of Mr. McKay

This GoFundMe Campaign has been created to raise money for a memorial bench that would be placed near a tree the Mr. McKay had planted in memory of a former student.    The Glenn School PTO and the Building and Grounds Committe enthusiastically support this idea  and welcome any help they can get to beautify the grounds of Glenn School. 

We hope to raise enough money for the bench and any funds raised beyond the cost of the bench will be donated to the PTO for their use in further school beautification projects.
