Fanyana Mashoko

After having just retired from his job in South Africa at the age of 68, my friend’s dad Fanyana Mashoko was getting ready to move back to his homeland of Zimbabwe. While filling up his car with gas he was approached and shot multiple times in a robbery attempt. Thankfully, Mr. Mashoko is showing signs of recovery, although he has a long road ahead, including an extended hospital stay in South Africa. Unfortunately, the medical bills continue to escalate.
