I am the grandma of this beautiful little man. Back in the early part of may Layn was medivaced to Primary Children’s hospital after a two week long stay at EIRMC with a paralyzed vocal cord, laryngomalacia, and difficulty breathing. After many weeks of trying to get him to breathe, it was decided to trach him In order for him to breath without difficulty. Since then he has had many hospital stays and trips to Utah for various doctors appts. This has put a huge financial burden on the family trying to pay for food and gas costs. Respiratory season is gonna be in full Swing and his pulmonologist said to just expect a few more hospital stays. He is just so susceptible to sickness because of the trach. The medical bills are taken care of with insurance but it is so costly to buy food and gas and supplement lost income. The Ronald McDonald house is currently out of commission because of remodeling. We try to eat there as much as possible with the take and go food, but it’s only a few times a week so there’s always still a great cost for meals. This is the reason I started this go fund me.
