Mr. Kilby Tool Replacement

Hello, for those who don't know us personally, we're Nathan and Rebecca. We’ve been building our long-awaited farmhouse for the past eight months.

We've suffered tool theft yet again on our property. This time, it was all of our tools…and the majority of my father’s tools he’s acquired over a lifetime.

In addition to the monetary blow, quite a few of the tools had sentimental value as he’s had them since he used to build homes with his own father nearly 50 years ago.

We recently learned that we would not receive either justice or restitution.

The local court denied the criminal investigator an arrest warrant for the thief, that even admitted to being on our property, and we have a photograph of them in their car on our land.

And our insurance company denied our claim and has been giving us the run around. We’re seeking legal counsel, but we’re not holding our breath.

In the meantime, we’re “homeless” and trying to finish building our home with borrowed tools, and my father, who has so graciously given us his time and expertise, is left high and dry.

We’d appreciate support replacing my father’s tools as he has been a big blessing to us and many others he has helped build their homes without asking for anything in return.
