Mr. Jay's Surgery Goal

Many of you call him "Mr. Jay",  and I call him "Lil bro", no matter what you call him he's helped so many people in so many ways within our community and now he needs our help, NOW!! I bet many of  you don't know that Mr. Jay can't eat a "normal" meal and hasn't for better than 8 months.  Nope, Mr. Jay's diet has consisted of protein drinks and bland foods.  What happened you ask??

Well, last summer Jay had one surgery which is where he found out about this pouch that had formed.  It was during this time that Jay scheduled that second surgery only to be turned down by his insurance company.  Since then he and his doctor have been fighting to get this procedure to go through with his insurance with no luck.  In January his insurance changed, which was a glimmer of hope for Jay,  and they have flat out denied this procedure 

Jay's surgeon has discounted the surgery for him, and he is gracious for that, but he is also graciously working his BUTT of f to earn the wages to make this happen .  This condition is affecting  his quality of life.  It has made it necessary for him to take a leave of absence  from his 4K position that he adores.  It affects his ability to attend out to dinner functions, or most any other functions.  My little brother is not one to complain about life, but when life hands you watermelons, it's time for someone to step in and lend a little hand.

I know Jay has given his time to our community in so many ways, working with our children, tutoring, helping with school floats for parades (and a lot of times managing them altogether), designing multiple school logos, helping staff of his own time, assisting with musicals, and so many, many, many more things - too many to list. 

I'm asking all of you to help my brother earn the money he needs to finally have this surgery he has been waiting so long to receive.  He needs help NOW, Please dig deep my friends and show Mr. Jay we can give back!!
