Mr Fredericks Marathon

Donation protected
This October 25th, I’ll be taking on a marathon walk in full cricket gear – 26.2 miles from The Hundred of Hoo Academy to High Halstow Cricket Club (and back again) – in honour of my good mate Mr Fredericks.

Many of you will know Mr Fredericks as an inspiring teacher, a passionate cricketer, and a much-loved part of the HOH community. He was due to start an exciting new chapter as Head of PE in Dubai this summer, but instead received the devastating news that he is facing stage 4 Hodgkin’s Lymphoma.

Mr Fredericks has given so much to the lives of young people through his teaching, coaching and love for sport. He’s always been someone to cheer others on, and now it’s our turn to support him.

By taking on this challenge, I hope to raise vital funds and awareness while also showing love to a man who has made such a positive impact on so many. Every step (and every ounce of sweat under the cricket pads!) will be for Mr Fredericks.

If you’re able to donate, no matter how big or small, it will mean the world and help provide support where it’s most needed. If you fancy coming along to cheer me on (maybe walk an innings with me as I am sure I will need the boost) that would be awesome!

These donations will be used by Mr Fredericks to give back to the Hundred of Hoo PE Department and High Halstow Cricket Club who he has said has given him so much support.
