If you have ever had the amazing opportunity to know or even have ran into any of the De Vitas for even 5 minutes, you would know how lovely and selfless they are. They are always there to talk to you, give you a bight smile, give you the shirt off their back, and make you feel like the most important person in the world. I have been so blessed to have met his daughter Emily De Vita and the rest of the De Vita family since 2018. They are the kind of people who treat everyone like family.

That is no different with Mr. Rob De Vita. Not only being a dad of 3 girls, which is a feat in itself, he was always inviting all the broke college students to his house for a game of bags and amazing home cooked meals. The only thing bigger than Mr De Vita’s heart, would be his personality and love to cook for those he loved and cared for.

However, God seems to give his toughest battles to his strongest soilders. And while Mr Rob De Vita (Rib extraordinaire) as I like to call him, is one of the strongest people I know, he needs our help now.

Mr. De Vita has been in and out of the hospital every week, since April, to have a paracentesis procedure to do what his organs aren’t doing other own (draining and filtering things), and just recently this December, he just had a heart stent procedure. He is currently waiting to undergo an organ transplant in the beginning of January. He has spent most of this past year at Delnor, CDH, and University of Chicago.

While prayers are greatly needed as well, anyone who has had an extended stay at the hospital, and large procedures, also knows how expensive it can be. Please please if you are able, any prayers or donations to help with the hospital bills would be greatly appreciated.
