First, I never thought I’d be asking for any handouts or assistance but with this unforeseen passing of my father I have to.
My father, a Retired Navy Veteran of 20 years got blessed with having two transplants(Liver then Lungs) which extended his life to a great 11 years or so. He is survived by his wife Lucy, his sons David, Dominic, Angel and myself Christopher. His grandchildren Kiara, Luci, Marlo and Bubu.
He fought to stay alive to be with his grandchildren, his babies. He fought a good fight until recently on 10/12/18 when he got Pneumonia and everything turned for the worse. Everything went so wrong so fast and left us in the dark. We are not financially set to take this head on with his tragic death which was on 10/17/18.
My dad was the main provider for his household and handled all his stuff through his own account. We’re just asking for assistance to stabilize everything, mainly so we can keep his house.
The family is still scrambling to gain access to accounts, documents, and obtain password and also to see what his bills were, what’s owed, what balances are left. It may take a few months where we can all live in one house and take care of everything.
We don’t even think my dad had insurance on himself, only for his wife(which was a mistake because of his heavy dose of meds he was taking). Everything is all screwed up right now and uncertain. Thank u for your time, your thoughts, support and prayers.
