Mr. Conlon's Retirement Gift

Mr. Conlon is retiring! After two full rounds of taking children through all eight years at Portland Waldorf School (after his first eight-year cycle and teaching games at Hawthorne Valley), our beloved Mr. Conlon is hanging up his hat and heading east, to be with his family. Our children have thrived under his mentorship; parents have had the benefit of his wisdom and dedication; and we are forever grateful for his influence. 



To show our gratitude, we invite parents and relatives of current and past students to contribute to a farewell gift. Let us thank him for his sacrifices, his patience, his passion. Let's send him east with a substantial sum of money as he makes his way into the next phase of life. 


As part of our promotion ceremony (date to be determined), we will give Jim his money and any cards that we've collected. Thank you for coming together in this last gesture of gratitude for our extraordinary teacher.
