As-Salamu Alaykum,

I hope you are well and in the best of health.
We are raising money in the loving memory of Choudhary Liaqut Hussain, Son of the Late Karam-Elahi, Husband of Samina Hussain, and Father to Rubina, Abid, Rukhsar & Haleemah Hussain.
Our chosen charity is “The Kashmir Orphan Relief Trust”.
This charity that has been serving the needy, especially orphans, of Azad Kashmir and Pakistan in general since 2005. They have a 100% donation policy and are currently fundraising to build a hospital in Mirpur.
Alhumdulillah with the grace of The Almighty, the government of AJK has signed over the land for the KORT Hospital in Mirpur, AJK, and In’sha’allah work will be starting on the foundation very soon. The Hospital will be located down the road from the existing KORT Education Complex on Jatlan Road.
We attended the Slough fundraising dinner in November 2021 and pledged to raise funds to build a room in the hospital in honour of my dad.
As you know, Dad sadly passed in May 2022, (may Allah Swt grant him the highest ranks of Jannat) and we weren’t able to fundraise or donate. Dad's passing has only enhanced our passion for this to be built in his name as Sadaqah Jariya for him.

On behalf of me and my family, THANK YOU for taking out the time to read this and may Allah SWT accept all our duaas and efforts.
Please also keep Dad in your duaas during this holy month of Ramadan. May Allah SWT forgive him of his sins and elevate his good deeds. We pray that all the suffering Dad did in this life, will only pave a beautiful path for a better life in the akhirah.
This coming May will mark Dad's first anniversary of his passing. We have decided as a family, not to hold a grand gathering for his Khatham. We would greatly appreciate any funds that would've been spent on travel, food etc to go towards this cause instead, as this is what we will be doing.
