01/21/2019: Cash was in the hospital last week for almost the entire week. He caught a case of pneumonia as he was recovering from his surgery. Thanks to his wonderful caretakers and the help of an oxygen chamber he is on the road to recovery. Cash came home from the hospital on Sunday and he is on cage rest for the next 3 weeks while he heals from the surgery.
Updated: Cash is now hospitalized due to pneumonia. He is stable and on oxygen! Please donate and if that's not possible please put it on your Facebook.
Cash needs your help! Cash is a 7-year-old adorable dachshund. He loves swimming, obsessively ripping fuzz off tennis balls, and stealing sips of beer when you’re not looking. He's very well behaved and genuinely loves every living being he meets (even cats).
On New Years Day, Cash was found paralyzed in his back legs. He was later diagnosed with Intervertebral Disc Disease (IVDD) and had to have emergency surgery in the middle of the night. The doctors said the surgery went well but we don’t know if/how well he’ll recover. He’s currently doing his best to recover but is still unable to walk or use the bathroom on his own.
This surgery took a lot out of him both physically and emotionally. This is going to be a long and expensive road to recovery for Cash and his whole family. We want to support Cash and his loving parents Matt and Jordan the best we can, and we can’t do that without help from people like you. Every dollar helps. If you are stretched thin and can’t donate but still want to help, you can still make a difference by sharing this post
