Mr Carcinoma. No room for you here!

Cancer is a nasty word that we all know too well!!  It does not have any gender preference, it does not have race preference.  This disease attacks the young and the old.and is not at all forgiving.  So when we hear that someone close to us has been stricken by the disease, we just don’t know what to say.  But we can try to do something.

This so called cancer attacked one of our closest friend.  His name is Phil Mansi, 37 years YOUNG and is a Marine Corps Veteran. He was recently diagnosed with Renal Cell Carcinoma simply known as Kidney Cancer.  He is married to his beautiful wife Kelby.  They have 6 children, Brianna 21, Spencer 16, Bella 13, Leila 10, Kiera 8  and Dillen 6. Phil adopted his sister-in-laws children, Kiera and Dillen due to unfortunate circumstances.  He opened his home and his heart to bring in 2 more children into his life. This demonstrates what kind of man he is . Phil is a hard worker and Kelby is a part time accounting representative.  He is a great father and a friend you would want to have.  He is always willing to help where ever he can!  He will do what needs to be done to support and provide for his family.  So with that said, this brings me to why we are here.

He will have to have a procedure done called, "Radical Nephrectomy" (surgery to remove the kidney)  and will be out of commission for 2 months.  Meaning will not be working!  And not sure what his insurance will cover. With this GofundMe Page, we hope to raise money to help his family thru the crisis and any medical expenses the family may incur.  It is already challenging enough to cope and accept the disease, but if we can lessen the financial burden, that will provide piece of mind to him and his family.
