Mr Caput is a wonderful man. He has touched many lives through the years. Always happy and eager to help anyone in need. Mr Caput has been with his wife Lynndee for 46 years. They have one daughter, two sons and three grandchildren.
Mr Caput is well known in our small town. Mr Caput retired from teaching and school administration after 25 years. Most of us here in Oroville remember him as vice principal of Las Plumas High School.
Some of you may not know that Mr Caput is a US Navy Veteran. He served from 1968 - 1972. He served in combat in Vietnam. During his service like many of his fellow veterans he was exposed to agent orange. Unfortunately this has led to many health issues and disabilities later in life.
Mr Caput has maintained a exercise program designed by his wife Lynndee to keep him healthy and active. He is always keeping busy and volunteering his time as he can.
Mr Caput recently has had two bad falls and was admitted into Enloe Hospital in Chico. He suffered a stroke resulting in paralysis on his left side. As a result he will need extended rehabilitation. Daily living functions will be a struggle.
His family didn't want to ask for help, but at this time it is needed. For a man that has given so much I felt it was only right that we would all have a chance to give back to them. If you or anyone you know are able to help anything will be appreciated. Please share this so we can assist Mr Caput and his family in their time of need.
