Friends and Family,

As I begin my 9th year in education and my 5th year in New Orleans public schools, I’m always looking for ways to continue to grow as an educator and to create/ provide meaningful experiences for my students.

This year, with so many budget cuts around education, unfortunately, things like field trips, end-of-year activities, and student incentives given through out the school year have been reduced or cut altogether as the focus on education has shifted.

Rather than complain, I wanted to find a solution beyond my school community. With your help, my students can still enjoy their 4th grade field trip, an end-of-year crawfish boil, and a few prize give aways throughout the year.
