Hi, this go fund me is on behalf of Blairadam Premier Boarding Kennels and Cattery. As some may know, Mo and the staff care for rescue animals too! Skye the Corso’s story is on the Facebook page and she is thriving at the kennels! Mo supplies and pays for everything for the rescue animals and has only previously asked for fundraising for Skye’s vet bills and recovery as this was costly. She feeds and cares for 10 rescues from her own pocket at the moment. This time, we are fundraising for a mastiff type called Mr B!
Mr B came to us a few months ago, in need of a new home. He is the most boisterous, biggest baby, if ever I have saw one! He just wants to be friends with everyone he meets, and thinks everyone deserves big Mr B cuddles and kisses! He is genuinely a BFG.
The reason for this fundraising is because Mr B’s paw has swollen up to look like a boxing glove but with no cuts or abrasions. Mo took him to her vet to have this checked on 17th September and the vet has advised they need to try and flush his paw under anaesthetic to investigate the cause of the swelling. This has been scheduled for 18th of September at an estimated cost of £540.08. The vet believes that he may then need another operation in 2 weeks time to save Mr B’s foot if the results come back for what he thinks it may be (the vet has not confirmed what he thinks it may be yet, incase he is wrong). The surgery in 2 weeks is believed to estimate more than the first surgery, with ongoing medication and treatment required.
The cost of this will be significant so to allow Mo and the staff at the kennels to keep providing the care to the rescues, boarders, day care and cats that is required, we are asking for your help to support Mr B’s operations and recovery!
We are in the process of registering as a rescue but we are in the busy period of boarding at the moment so the rescue registry has had to be postponed to ensure we can provide the best care for all the dogs and cats we have at the moment.
Please donate if you can help Mr B’s recovery. Every little will help!
