Mr. Brindle's Journey to a New Life

Mr. Brindle has finally been rescued after wandering in the Twin Peaks/Continental Ranch/Sunflower area of Marana, AZ for the past several months, evading rescue by several individuals, as well as multiple trained professionals. No one knows where he came from or what his back story was prior to being seen in Marana. Through his frequent sightings over the past several months, he has managed to capture the hearts of many in the area, with his unique personality and adventurous, survivor's spirit.
He was brought into the Firm Foundations K9 Training facility on June 12, 2023. We created this page as a centralized place to raise funds to cover the costs of his care, medical expenses, rehabilitation, etc. It is thought that he was hit by a car during his time wandering, and he also came to us with some sores/abrasions on his abdomen/genital area, so he will definitely need to be evaluated by a veterinarian. He also needs basic medical care such as vaccinations, and he will need to be neutered, as well. Mr. Brindle has a lot of fear/nervousness around humans and displays some feral-like behavior in this regard, so he may have a bit of a lengthy rehab process before he is ready for his new home.
We are unsure of the total amount that will be needed to care for him, in the long run, but donations will be used to provide:
- Veterinary examination(s)
- Vaccinations
- Neuter surgery
- Microchipping
- Food
- Training/rehab
