Mr. Bob's Journey: From Loss to Hope

Donation protected
Hi, my name is Robin Pescador. I was in front of Waxahachie Pharmacy on Thursday, May 22, 2025. While I was waiting on meds to be brought to me, I saw Robert "Mr. Bob" Klemp sitting on the curb by ALDI, playing his guitar and singing. I then witnessed the manager from ALDI come out and tell Mr. Bob he had to move from in front of ALDI. Bob asked him nicely how far he needed to move. The manager then told him he needed to move or he was calling the police. I started recording all of this. The manager got in his car and left, so I pulled up and asked Bob if I could record him playing. He said he would like to sing a song he wrote. The song's name is 'If Jesus Had a Gun.' After, I saw the police pull up and start talking to Bob. I pulled back up to make sure Bob was okay. The Waxahachie police were being very kind to him. They stated that unfortunately, if the owner called and wanted him off the property, they had to remove him. They gave him a list of places that he could play and gave him a ride home. I found out he had walked there.

I am starting this GoFundMe to help Bob out with bills and whatever else he needs. He lost his car in a car wreck, his wife passed away a couple of months ago, and he is 76 years old. He stated to me that no one would hire him because they think he's deranged. He's a very sweet man, so if you're able to help, that's wonderful. If you can't and want to just spend time with him, etc., contact me. Thank y'all for reading.
