This GoFundMe has been established to help provide financial support for Mr. Bobby (Robert Walton) in his fight against cancer.

 

Mr. Bobby has been a part of our MMBOA community for the past 5 years. His positivity, encouragement, ability to connect with others encompasses what our school community is all about. Each day he has taught our young learners not only about physical fitness and developing skills but also sportsmanship and respect for others. So many important life lessons about teamwork and achieving your goals happen during Mr. Bobby’s class. The lessons learned from Mr. Bobby have had a tremendous positive impact on our kids.

 

Right now, Mr. Bobby needs our encouragement and support. He was diagnosed with stage 4 Grey Zone Lymphoma in late June of 2021. Mr. Bobby has been privately battling his illness with tremendous courage over the last several months. His recent scans delivered the news that further treatment is necessary and Mr. Bobby is preparing for either a bone marrow transplant or CAR T Cell Therapy. His full treatment plan is still being determined but we do know that he will need to be off work for the next several months.

 

Mr. Bobby has a long strenuous journey ahead of him, but he is a strong, courageous, and positive individual. This fundraiser will help relieve some of his financial burden by offsetting the costs of his medical expenses and routine bills (rent, utilities, groceries) in order to allow him to focus on his treatment and recovery.
