Help Mr. Biscuits walk again

Donation protected
In partnership with Second Chance Shelter for Cats of Jamaica Plain and Robyn Sharpe, I am looking to raise money for an important cause. This cause starts with a very sweet 8 month old cat named Mr. Biscuits. He was found on the streets of Mattapan late one October evening by Robyn Sharpe, a volunteer foster for Second Chance. She decided out of the kindness of her heart to help this struggling kitten on the side of the road. Mr. Biscuits is a very special case. He does not have use in his back legs and he has recently lost control his bladder/bowel movements. We are not sure what happened to Mr. Biscuits but suspect it is a congenial issue he is suffering from.

We are determined to understand it, and do what needs to be done for him. After Robyn rescued him, she took him to a vet in the area. The vet examined him and it was determined that he have radiographs done. According to the radiology report, Mr. Biscuits is living with 3 collapsed vertebrae's in his chest cavity which is causing weakness in his rear legs. In turn, making him only able to stand or walk with support. There are also concerns regarding his ability to expand his lungs due to having collapsed vertebrae in the thoracic cavity.

Despite the diagnosis, Mr. Biscuits was living a happy life with his foster mom until Christmas of 2023. Mr. Biscuits started to show signs of pain including: heavy breathing, lethargy, and twitching in his legs. Robyn took him to the vet ER to see what was going on. The ER veterinarian suggested that Mr. Biscuits have a full neurological workup which included a CAT scan. Unfortunately, it is out of the small shelters budget to have this workup done. It is also out of the shelters budget to afford a comfortable wheelchair for Mr. Biscuits

Anyone who has ever come in contact with Mr. Biscuits, humans and animals alike, have fallen in love with him. He is not only a cat but a sweet and special soul. It is my goal to raise at least $5,000 for this cause so that Mr. Biscuits can live a life of joy without suffering.

Please help us make this goal a reality. Thank you so much everyone for your support!
