Help Us Honour Mr Bailey

In the early hours o’ Monday the 15th o’ September 2025, at 5.10am, I had tae say cheerio tae ma best pal and loyal companion, Mr Bailey. He wisnae just a dug – he wis family. He brought me joy beyond measure, and touched the hearts o’ mony folk lucky enough tae meet him.

Mr Bailey wis a Springer Spaniel wi’ a spirit that couldnae be tamed – full o’ energy, fun, and love. Whether he wis tearing across the fields wi’ his lugs flappin’, chasing his ball as if it wis the most important thing in the world, or curling up close after a lang day, he aye lived wi’ happiness in his heart. His wagging tail, his daft wee grin, and his endless loyalty brightened even the darkest o’ days.

Though it breaks ma heart that he’s no by ma side, I can take comfort in picturing him noo – free o’ pain, running and jumping in Springer Spaniel heaven, chasing after his ball till the day we meet again.

I’ve set up this page tae help raise the funds needed tae gie him the farewell he deserves. Funeral costs are heavy, but I want tae send him aff wi’ the love, care and dignity he gave tae us every single day.

If ye kent Mr Bailey, ye’ll mind fine hoo special he wis. And if ye didnae, ken this – he lived for love, for play, and for bringing folk together.
