Help a Family Rebuild After a Medical Crisis and Sudden Eviction

We never imagined we’d be in this position — asking for help just to have a place to call home again. But after a sudden medical emergency turned our lives upside down, our family is now facing one of the hardest chapters we’ve ever had to walk through.

One of our family members suffered a serious medical crisis that made it impossible for them to work while they recovered. As medical appointments and healing became the priority, bills began to pile up, and despite our best efforts to stay afloat, we fell behind on rent.

We’ve now had to leave our home, and we’re desperately trying to avoid having the eviction go on our record — something that would make it almost impossible to find stable housing in the future.

We are asking for help to raise funds by November 11th to cover:

The balance owed on our previous home, to prevent a formal eviction from being filed

Moving expenses for the few belongings we were able to keep

First and last month’s rent to secure a new, safe place to live

This has been an incredibly humbling experience. We’ve always been the ones trying to help others in tough times — never expecting to be the ones in crisis ourselves. But right now, we truly need the kindness and generosity of our community to help us get back on our feet.
