On March 26, 2025, a tragic accident in Nevada changed everything for my grandparents, Dick and Jan Garner who are in their 80’s, While traveling in their motorhome—a place they've lovingly called home for the past 18+ years—Jan began experiencing breathing difficulties. Concerned, Dick signaled to make a safe left-hand turn to find a spot for Jan to rest. In that vulnerable moment, a passing F350 truck towing a horse trailer collided with the front driver's side of their coach.

Due to Nevada's laws, no party was deemed at fault. Unfortunately, Dick and Jan only had liability insurance on their motorhome, leaving them without coverage for the damages. Their cherished coach, meticulously adapted for Jan's disabilities, was impounded and deemed unlivable. Now, they're left without a home, relying solely on a fixed income, and facing the daunting reality of starting over.

Traveling in their motorhome wasn't just a lifestyle—it was their sanctuary, their comfort, and their independence. The loss is immeasurable.
