Stephen's recovery

Donation protected
At approximately 4:00pm Alaska time on February 5, Stephen Olendorff suffered heart failure while on a chair lift at Hilltop Ski Area. His son, my very brave 6 year old nephew William was with him and held on to his dad and prayed until they reached the top of the ski hill where he then called for help. The Hilltop Ski Patrol started life saving actions on Stephen and kept him alive until paramedics arrived where they took over. He was transported to Alaska Regional Hospital and is now in ICU. His wonderful medical team are taking exemplary care of him and are at this time trying to figure out why this has happened. He is sedated at this time along with his body being cooled to alleviate more damage. His wife, Stephanie, his parents Tom and Jenny and his sisters Grace (myself) and Lauren have been by his side, along with amazing friends and other extended family. The plan for tonight is to warm his body to a more normal temperature. The plan for tomorrow morning is to slowly bring him out of sedation. Any donations will go directly to Stephen and Stephanie to help alleviate the financial burden this episode will be. We are asking for all prayer warriors to vigilantly pray for Stephen and his family.
