At 1:50am on February 4th, 2015, Jackie Hunt lost her beautiful Wendell home in a terrible fire.   Thankfully, no one was injured, but her home was burned to the ground.  Nothing was salvageable.  Nothing.  Despite this loss, Jackie’s tenacious spirit remains strong.

Jackie is a beloved friend and adored by many.  She is a devoted daughter, mother, sister, and aunt. She is a treasured member of the Wendell community and a dedicated teacher on the Academic Support Team at the Pioneer Valley Performing Arts Charter Public School (PVPA).

You might not know that Jackie is a gifted artisan and an exceptional gardener.  She has a small business making bouquets, salves, soaps, oils, lotions, and hair care products.  She creates all of her products by hand from flowers and herbs she grows in her garden.  The fire destroyed everything.  All of her inventory, supplies, and equipment are gone.

Many people have asked how they can help Jackie during this tumultuous time.  Here is your chance!  As Jackie’s friends, we set up this account as an opportunity to support her.  Jackie will use your donation to rebuild her small business, allowing her to begin putting the pieces of her life back together.  Even the smallest donation will make a difference and show your love!
