Alton Keeney Family Fund

Since our dear friend Alton Keeney passed away unexpectedly on January 9, 2018, numerous friends and family have indicated they want to contribute towards the unexpected funeral expenses this family now faces, as well as future ongoing travel and other costs Alton’s wife, Carla Hurst Keeney, will have involving Carrie’s continued healthcare needs and travel expenses to St. Jude for her cancer checkups, etc. This fund has been set up for that purpose and will be left up for the foreseeable future.

If you are unable to help financially at this time, we totally understand and ask instead that you please continue to pray for this family and for Carrie’s continued remission. They will need our prayers big-time as they begin to develop a painful “new normal.”

Carla has also mentioned that she will likely need help from us in the form of “time” as she begins to take on all the family responsibilities that Alton has always handled. She has commented that she feels totally lost, and understandably so. We know that Alton would want (and for some of us EXPECT) us to step up and help fill in for him to make sure his precious family is taken care of.

Thank you to everyone who has cared about the Keeney family, especially now and during the past 2 1/2 years. You are what kept Alton and Carla going while Carrie was sick, and your friendship meant the world to Alton.
