Hello. I’m Sandy Coker. My story starts at the end of January when my sister-in-law passed away. My husband was distraught. On February 3rd 2020, he was outside about to wash his truck before he went to his sister’s viewing. He had laid his suit out. He never washed his truck that day. He didn’t wear his suit that day. My husband had posted on his sister’s memory wall that he’d love her til the day he died. He passed away in our driveway. The mail man said something was obviously wrong he was stumbling so he turned around and saw my husband on the ground, and called 911. They sent a first responder from up the street. They worked very hard together to save him.  They couldn’t get him back.

Fast forward to December of 2020.

after months of hard grief, I thought i was sick from it. My doctor did some tests and an ultrasound (at least 3 of those). I was diagnosed with end stage decompensating liver failure due to uncontrolled blood sugar. I couldn’t work anymore. A transplant is my only hope. God is still on the throne. Miracles happen everyday. He can heal me. He’s big enough

I applied for disability in January 2021. My paperwork got lost. It didn’t get filed until March.

I sold my husband’s truck and a few other things in order to keep up my bills cutting back where I could. My sister has been paying my utilities. Some very good friends paid for my car (paying that back whenever I get disability approval). When the finance company found that my husband had passed, they wanted me to refinance to get the loan in my name or pay it off. With no job, you can’t refinance. Some friends and family have helped with my mortgage.

Now, since i can’t work, I don’t know where to look for a house payment. God has taken care of me so far. I trust Him to continue. He wants me to do the thing I have never had to do and gets stuck in my throat when I do it.

Can you help me? Will you please help me? I don’t want to lose my home.
