This is my brother Blaine.  He is 55 years old and currently in the hospital with stage 4 thyroid cancer.  The doctors have told us it is only a matter of time. 

Blaine's story is not a happy one as he has asperger's syndrome and is physically disabled.  His life has been his kitty KD.  He lives on Social Security disability and has no savings. 

I am his last sibling.  We lost my brother Wade in 2013 to Prostate Cancer and both our parents are gone as well.  He has no spouse and no children. I need to be able to fly out to Washington (I live in Texas) to hopefully see him before he passes and to cover the expenses of his care as well as  funeral/burial. 

Any remaining funds I would donate to Cancer research a disease that has destroyed so many families including my own.

I know this is a difficult and stressful time of year for everyone but, as small amount would help.
