A few days ago, my 21 year old daughter Jada was abducted in broad daylight from our home in East Palo Alto, Ca. She would be found hours later in the ICU at the Zuckerberg Trauma Center in San Francisco; she had a single stab wound to her lower abdomen; which ruptured her liver and caused internal bleeding.
Jada more than knew her attacker, she loved him. He was her boyfriend for more than two years and he would often stay in our family home for months at a time. Our family is in utter shock and disbelief that someone we allowed in our home and family would try to end her life.
My daughter fought for her life to survive this brutal attack; determined to live, she screamed and yelled as loud as she could to passing motorist as he drove erratically through the Hunters Pointe section of San Francisco. It was somewhere in this neighborhood, across from a soccer field that he tackled her from behind and struck her repeatedly with a knife.
The person who did this to my daughter has not been arrested; he is currently driving around the city of San Francisco in my daughters blood soaked vehicle.
Unfortunately after Jada underwent major surgery, she tested positive for Covid. She was immediately moved to isolation and has had no contact with law enforcement or victim services. No police report has been filed, no one is looking for him or working to get him off the streets.
Two days ago he called her; somehow he was able to get her room and phone number from a hospital operator. Now he knows she’s alive and he knows where she’s at.
My daughter is in extreme danger until this person is in custody.
San Francisco police cannot protect or guarantee the safety of my daughter and victim services are not available to her until a police report is filed.
l need help to keep my daughter safe. I need help to relocate Jada to a secured location until this person is arrested for this crime.
Jada was brave enough to name her attacker to hospital staff. Now he’s in possession of her car and personal items.
He knows our alarm system, he’s visited our extended family all across the state. He knows all the places we frequent; he knows where we dine, grocery shop and go to church.
I do not have the resources to move my daughter around for months until he is caught. It’s both risky and traumatic for her to recover at the family home.
Please help me find and secure a safe place for my daughter to recover until her attacker is caught and our home fortified.
We appreciate your help and thanks in advance. Please keep Jada in your thoughts and prayers as she begins her journey to recovery.
