Support Carl Mitsumori's Journey to Recovery
Donation protected
Aloha,
We are writing this on behalf of our Dad, Carl Mitsumori. On October 2, 2024, Carl had a horrible fall while at work. He landed on the back of his head and immediately lost all feeling in his extremities. Carl was rushed to the Queen’s Hospital emergency room and after extensive scans and tests, they found out he suffered a severe neck injury and needed emergency surgery in hopes to regain use of all his extremities.
Carl’s surgery went very well; however, now we are in the stages of recovery. As of today, he is unable to feed himself, grasp anything with his hands, or even use his phone (he wanted to let everyone know he isn’t ignoring you and he’s alive). He did gain a little strength in his feet, but he is unable to get out of bed and walk.
Our Dad will have a very long, long road to recovery. We are asking for your support to help our Dad access the resources and care he needs for his recovery. Our Dad said he can’t wait to get back to playing music, drawing, and babysitting all his grandkids!
We are so grateful for any help you can offer, whether it’s through a donation or simply sharing this page with your family & friends. Your kindness and support mean the world to us as we navigate this new chapter in Carl’s life. With your help, we can give him the best chance at reclaiming his independence and living a fulfilling life again.
Mahalo Ke Akua, Arigato and Thank you from the bottom of our hearts ❤️
