My name is Leslie and

with much sadness, my best friend and her family received the worst news this morning regarding her eldest son. He has passed away from a motorcycle accident earlier this morning in Tempe, Arizona. He had just turned 18 years old. He worked his butt off to complete his GED, he had just gotten his first vehicle when living in New Mexico and what was probably his most prized possession, just got his first motorcycle. Joe was passionate about anything he put his heart into. This kid could make anyone laugh and had the most contagious smile and laugh himself. He was a workhorse and very driven; any project he started, he made sure to finish. You never gave up, Joe, I never got to tell you how proud of you I am. Joe, you are the best big brother to your siblings. I know your family will forever hurt but just know you are loved and are at peace. I will continue to be here for my family however possible. My best friend (mother of 5; Joe is her oldest) and her family had just moved to New Mexico after purchasing their first home. They will be returning to Arizona this week to get everything situated, and I will update this post then with further information.
